I’ve made some significant text updates to our trojans page so that it
can hopefully be used as a more definitive reference point for people
needing to find out information about these worms, instead of having to
assemble details revealed over the multiple updates to my plan pages. I
also include links to the anti-virus vendors that describe each of these

During the recent problems with stats, the ranking for OGR got botched.
I’ve zeroed out any change in ranking for participants and teams, as if
everyone had the same exact rank yesterday as today. The problem will take
care of itself after tomorrow’s statsrun.
On a different note, a few proxies stopped talking to the master a day or
two ago, resulting in a lot of data backing up, so many of you might have
lower stats than normal for a few days. All is back to normal now, and
stats should be back to normal after tomorrow.
Sorry for any confusion.

Hi everyone, just a quick introduction .plan.
As some of you would know now I’ve been helping out with distributed.net
for a little while now, so I should have a .plan :)
What I will be doing (other than consuming large amounts of coffee) is
working on the PHP for both the general site as well as helping out with
the help@distributed.net email, for the time being anyway.
One last note – if you have suggestions for stats or anything else you
can submit them via bugzilla (http://n0cgi.distributed.net/bugs/)

For everyone who’s been wondering why stats have been up and down; the
statsrun has been slowing down again, so I’m running a maintenance routine.
I’ve also been working to get the stats-runs finished. Although dbcc runs
in the background, tally just isn’t powerful enough to support the dbcc,
statsrun, and web access all at the same time. That’s why I’ve been turning
web access off and on.
As soon as either the dbcc or the statsrun finishes, I’ll turn http back
on.
