Statsrun is going again, but team renumber is going to have to wait a while so
I can figure out a better way to do it.
distributed.net staff keep (relatively) up-to-date logs of their activities in .plan files. These were traditionally available via finger, but we've put them on the web for easier consumption.

Unfortunately I’ve hit a snag doing the team renumbering. Stats can stay online
while I’m fixing this, but I have to suspend the statsruns. I should be able to
start them back up tomorrow.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Stats are back up. I’ll be renumbering teams pretty soon, but hopefully that
won’t impact the site too much.

I’m going to be re-arranging a few things on statsbox. Unfortunately, I have to
shut down the database to do this.
I hope to have things up and running again within an hour.

We have had several reports from users that Norton AV 2003 is
detecting the file dnetc.com from build 483 as a Trojan. We
have confirmed this as well as confirming that Norton AV
corporate edition 8 has the same behavior. Both versions are
using definitions dated November 5th, 2003.
We have verified the authenticity of the files using the original
PGP signatures created when the builds were made. The files
have not been modified in any way. We are currently working with Symantec
to resolve this issue and hope to have it resolved with the next
edition of definitions.
Symantec has in the past worked with us to resolve these issues and
has published this description of distributed.net and our client :

We have had numerous requests to add sub-team functionality to the
statistics system. With the recent migration to PostgreSQL, we feel
we are now in a position to offer sub-team statistics to our users,
but we first need to know what you (our users) want to see. There
are a few limitations as to how these statistics can be implemented,
but I want to leave the door open for any and all suggestions.
