OGR stats are up-to-date again, though team ranking is wonky for OGR-25…
I’ll fix that later tonight. RC5 is currently running.

There was a problem with one of the logfiles a few days ago which caused
more problems with stats than I had originally thought. The OGR stats are
catching up, which should take an hour or so. Once that’s done, I’ll start
the RC5 run. Sorry for the delay.

I’m re-running yesterday’s stats… the -23 logfile contained an entry
for 1122, and stats didn’t like that.

The good news is that statsruns will be *much* faster in the near future…

As it turns out, OGR25 is also approaching the time where we need to
manually reissue the remaining unreturned stubs necessary to complete both
of its first and second passes. We’ve decided not to begin issuing OGR26
merely so that we can focus more intently on getting the existing OGR24
and OGR25 stub spaces fully finished off. Because of this, we’ll be
reducing the release rate of new OGR stubs (OGR24 and OGR25) into the
system so that we can give those outstanding stubs as much time as possible
to be handed in by themselves. Since the outgoing availability of OGR
stubs will now be much less, you may find that your client may return to
working on the RC5 project.

As always, since our statistics pages segregates your work totals by the
actual project type being completed, you may need to visit the RC5 project
stats page in order to see your updated totals being reflected.

Our stats grapher, Daa, is working hard on recrunching the numbers needed
to generate the pretty stubspace completion graphs for both OGR24 and
OGR25 that have been historically located at:
http://n0cgi.distributed.net/statistics/ogr/

Since Daa loves receiving encouragement email about the hard work that he
puts into the graphs, I recommend that you all send a personal message to
his account at daa@distributed.net and tell him that you are anxious to
see the updated stubspace percentage plots.

Someone told stats that I’m out of town, so the rc5 run puked. It’s all
set for tonight though. Sorry for the delay.

Just an update regarding the RC5 run (actually lack there of).

Something went wrong with it last night, and unfortunately decibel (or
someone else who knows how to fix it) is not around right now so we have
to sit tight for a bit. We are aware of the situation and are working to
resolve it ASAP.

Ok, this time I mean it… if your work isn’t making it to a team, re-join.

There was a bug in pteamjoin where it wouldn’t re-join you to a team if
it thought you were already on that team. All fixed now, everything should
work fine.

With all the shuffling I had to do to get stats back online, the RC5 data
for Nov. 8 fell through the cracks. I’m re-running the 8th, 9th, and 10th
right now. Stats should be back online in a few hours.
